The Cure is amazing, these songs still connect with me some after 30 years. What I love about Robert Smith is he understands what songs we love and he and the band continue to honor the music that makes them great. He writes new music, but doen't cram it down our throat in concerts. He may drop a few to introduce them, but he knows why we come. I just saw them at the Hollywood Bowl and I knew the lyrics to every song. Best concert I have been to in maybe 20 years. The Cure has been in my top three bands until I saw them last year. That concert put them at number one for me. The concert lasted almost three hours and felt like 15 minutes, simply awesome.
Krista Mehanikova
the only band that still sounds exactly the same as many decades ago

Never been a huge fan of The Cure but I'm hooked on this concert. Such enduring music performed by complete professionals, particularly the workaholic drummer! I was surprised how Rob Smith's vocals stand alone without any backing. It's such a long concert but the hard rock portion at three quarters way through is just mesmerising.
Rafael Vivanco Arana
Banderas latinoamericanas en la guitarra de Robert Smith. Aguante The Cure!! llmll
Bäckerei und Konditorei Omi Gretchen
A great vocalist and guitarplayer, a great songwriter, too. One of the true British musical exports of the past decades. Have been listening to this almost 30 years. Still ace!

You know they're a great band when they play a 2 hour set and still have songs you wish they'd have played.

I really like this version of Hungry Ghost. We all miss Porl but Reeves ambient shredding during the chorus really adds to the song. 1:14:47

Great The Cure.. Anyone watching in 2018! Santa Catarina, Brasil!!!✌
xxx yyy
I have loved The Cure for many years but find it difficult to get Gabrel`s guitar style
Camarggio
I'm an old timer just like Robert and I'll tell you. To my ears he sounds just he did in the many gigs I watched in my young days in my beloved london. You don't see many artists like that these days.
ghaibboy
The Cure is one of the best beautiful band 👍🏻
Claudio Barbero

There is something magical about THE CURE & Robert Smith, purely legendary!
Daft Everton
What a f*ckin amazing set. Absolute genius Robert.
Teejay Tamani
i could listen to this band endlessly
bh617
I think it's bizarre they haven't made an album in nearly 10 years. Never thought they'd be content to be bland oldsters on the festival circuit, but they still do a good show.
delerium64
AMAZING !!!!! Thanks for sharing this .....
AFTimeLord
The look that Smith gives right before the set truly began is the face of someone who's truly alive, like you're perfectly complete in what you do.
Arrighi Marie Christine
Thank you ❤️ listening to Robert Smith ´s Voice is always a privilege 🎸😘
Julie Waters
Beautiful Robert, u still & have always have had "it" & me from the beginning ~ forever Lovely Robert
rbeeler81
My God this even smells like the 80s; I was only six at the time, but for some reason, hearing the Cure conjures opaque images, either real or buried in the subconscious, of a random day in November 1985.
Леонид Кокорин
Simply the best band of all times
Stuart Moore
Robert Smith sounds fantastic!
Darren Rodgers
Goddamn what a bass player he is.
wauwi33
They are just brilliant, it feels so great to hear them the same Way i used to listen to their Music in the early 80is,the sam Quality, the same lovely Voice of Robert, just stunning....
Marc Buter
an icon of groups....salute to Robert for giving us decades of love and sound
Jesse Briones
One of my favorite bands & best songs of the 80s.
Chip Baumberger
The joy on Robert's face during the encore is so nice to see, they are really having fun, love their live shows!
swadehead30
Best concert I've ever been to (Duke 1989)
asgonzalez85

Brilliant set and the cure sound excellent. Great show.
Steve Mccart
It's lalapalooza. Usually bands played short sets but, they went forever. Disintegration is the best album ever!!
Buddha Joe Coughlin
Thank you soooo much for this post!! That was a good year for the CURE. The drummer is a machine. Simon does not age. What else can we say about Robert that has not been said? Love the set of songs.
D MAC
Simply the cure. Proper live band, spot on in every way, bringing back so many memories.
Crazy 8s Drums
As often, I am back listening to this marvelous performance of The Cure. It has become a favorite of mine on Youtube. I do feel a little bit bad for Jason the drummer as he is suffering from hairspray and sweat rolling into his eyes. 2 hours of deftly performed drumming will do that and I salute his stamina!
Mario Sancho - Cirer
That music was gold, humane and perfect
Nevs
I LOVE The Cure so much and they still sound so amazing! <3 <3 <3
C Mijares
Always extraordinary! Never tiring!
Aaeon Karma
Exquisite sound from the band. Rob is dead on
RicTic66
I remember meeting Robert and Simon in the Chelsea Pot a cheap cafe in the Kings Road London where all us punks and cool cats used to buy lunch on a Saturday afternoon around 1979/80ish. Robert and I had just bought the same jacket from 'Johnsons' 'La Rocka' and ended up discussing when we would have enough cash to buy the matching trousers. Robert was a really sweet guy fresh faced , a little shy but with an English wit that could cut like a knife. Simon was just your average guy funny, friendly and full of life. It's great to see what an influential powerhouse of rock and roll they have become. Crawley is a pretty inconspicuous English town half way between London and Brighton yet it produced the Cure.
Ricardo José Minassian
THE BEST...THE CURE...GOD SAVE "THE CURE" 4EVER.
sonuvabix
Simon Gallup's bass in Disintegration is so melodic yet so violent. I love it.
Ya No
