Evgeny Svetlanov conducts Rachmaninoff Symphonic Dances - video 1988

Unfortunately the sound isn't so good on this one. If anyone has a matching audio recording, I could combine it with the video. The ones I tried didn't match. Evgeny Svetlanov conducting the State Academic SO in Rachmaninoff's Symphonic Dances, op. 45, in 1988. Евгений Светланов - Рахманинов

Maestro Svetlanov wrote (translation by Michel Bower): "I freely confess that Rachmaninov’s “Symphonic Dances” are not only my favourite work by this composer but my favourite piece in the whole repertoire. Imagine how difficult it is to make such a statement. Some things are inevitable, like a first love. The fate of this piece is of major, personal significance for me."
Hector Berlioz

В 1988 году оркестр назывался the USSR State Symphony Orchestra!
is that problem of recording?? svetlanov has very beautiful string and very terrible sound brass and winds. why? i have whole rachmaninov symphony but balance is terrible.

Bad micing. No dynamics. No bass.
Vova Hrenov
Very shallow performance, sounds like a music to report about harvest in Soviet kolhoz. Any chance you upload Pletnev's version ?
