The Cure - Faith (live, Rome, Italy, June 4, 1989)

On June 4, 1989 in Rome, Italy, The Cure gave one of their most impassioned performances of 'Faith', with Robert Smith dedicating its performance to those who'd died in the Tiananmen Square Massacre in China that day, and at the end telling the audience, "Don't forget."

I think this performance should be put in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame or somewhere alike. I haven't found any song as powerful as this version ever since I heard it for the first time 14 years ago.

I was there, shivers, thank you
My absolute favorite version of this song. So powerful.

This version of “Faith" gives me goosebumps and makes me cry every time.

One of the best live perfomances of all time... I heard it first time in 2001 on a rare bootleg CD. This feeling when I first heard it, I will never forget...

How about a song about all those who die every day NOW in Ukraine for petty economic interests of a handful of oligarchs ?

"There's nothing left but faith". Ain't it the truth. Wake up in the new a pig at the top of the stairs dancing in a groovy purple shirt.....and eat the sweet sticky licky as chips.....the exploding boy. Nobody does it like the Creepy from Crawley.
this is for everyone who died today in China...
