1956 Louis Prima - Just A Gigolo-I Ain’t Got Nobody (Capitol version)

Inspiration for the 1985 David Lee Roth hit, this best-known Prima version of the two-song combo debuted as an album track in his 1956 LP “The Wildest!” Prima had first combined these two tunes in the mid-1940s. David Lee Roth did a pretty good cover. I heard his version first. Now that I hear this one, I see how close he came to the energy of the original.
